MR. BUSTER DIES IN DENTON TODAY

C. V. Buster, 62, of 309 Fry, a Denton businessman for over 20 years, died in his home at 7:10 a.m. today after a four-month illness.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Denton with the Rev. L. L. Armstrong, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery under direction of the Goen Funeral Home.
Mr. Buster was born in Pilot Point Feb. 10, 1895. In the auto supply business for over 33 years, he moved to Denton in 1936. He was a member of the Baptist Church and was also a member of the Denton Lions Club and the Stanfield Masonic Lodge No. 217.
Survivors include his wife Pauline of Denton; two daughters Mrs. Lavon Fulwiler of Denton and Mrs. Wayne Taylor of Austin; three sisters, Mrs. Robert Merrill of Pilot Point, Mrs. Anna Shumate of Houston and Mrs. Lee Elliott of Oklahoma City; two brothers, J. C. Buster of Fort Worth and W. G. Buster of Dallas, and two grand children.

FUNERAL TODAY FOR DENTONITE

Services will be held today at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Denton for C. Vardaman Buster, 62, a resident of Denton for 22 years and a member of a pioneer Denton County family.
Mr. Buster died early Friday at his home, 309 Fry.
The Rev. L. L. Armstrong, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate at the services, assisted by Kenneth Hufman, educational director.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the church, where Mr. Buster had been an active deacon for many years. He also was a member of the Denton Lions Club and the Masonic Lodge. Pallbearers will be Felton Bellar, Gerald Brenholtz, District Judge Jack Gray, Charles Mann, Bob Stanley and Elvin Taylor.
Burial will be in the Denton IOOF Cemetery under direction of Goen Funeral Home.
Born Feb. 10, 1895, in Pilot Point, Mrs. Buster was the son of Dr. and Mrs. O. C. Buster, pioneer residents of Denton County. He married Miss Pauline Martin of Dallas on Nov. 23, 1918.
Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Wayne Taylor of Austin and Mrs. Lavon Fulwiler of Denton; three sisters, Mrs. Robert W. Merrill of Pilot Point, Mrs. Anna Shumate of Houston and Mrs. Lee Elliott of Oklahoma City; two brothers, J. C. Buster of Fort Worth and W. G. Buster of Dallas; and two grandchildren.
