Funeral services for Dora Lee Erwin, 59, of Hornbeck, Louisiana were held Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at the Prewitt’s Chapel Church in Hornbeck, Rev. Nick Hilton officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Dora, the daughter of Donald and Janice Sigler Carroll, was born March 20, 1956 in Sutton, WV. She passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015, in Leesville, LA.
Mrs. Erwin loved flowers, gardening, sitting outside watching hummingbirds, and loved Christmas movies and the Hallmark Channel. She loved visiting with family and grandkids, and having family dinners after Church on Sundays.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Leonard Carroll and Beverly Pope.
She is survived by her husband of Hornbeck; four children; sic brothers and sisters; numerous grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one great grandchild on the way; host of nieces and nephews.
Services were under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
