Charles "Chuck" Millard Davis died Sunday, December 13th at St. Francis Medical Center after a brief illness.
Chuck graduated from Start High School and was self employed as a Sheet Metal Contractor.
He was a veteran serving in the Army in the Vietnam War.
He is preceded in death by parents, Cole and Merrell Davis; sister, Ida White; brother-in-law, Ronald Geddes.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Joy; son, Charles Cole Davis and wife, Frannie of Birmingham, AL; daughters, Kathryn "Katy" Colette Davis Smith and husband, Jon of Gulfport, MS and Marion Virginia "Ginna" Anthony and husband, Ryan of Bossier City, LA; granddaughters, Hannah and Carly Meloche; grandsons, Ayden and Ethan Anthony; brothers, Bo Davis and wife, Bonnie, David Davis and wife, Mary, Rick Davis and wife, Paula, and Robert Davis and wife, Lynn all of Start; sister, Colette Geddes of Sulphur; and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Jeffrey Davis, Jason Davis, Austin Davis, Steven White, Paul Davis, Alan Curry, Mitch Hopkins, James Albert Martin, and David Chaney. Honorary pallbearers are The "Super Bowl" Crew.
Visitation is 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Monday at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.
