OBITUARY :
MISS ELLA STECK, a former resident of Welsh Run, died yesterday at her home in Philadelphia from pneumonia following an attack of influenza. She was 53 years old.

Miss Steck was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Martin L. Steck and was born at Fairview, Md., moving to Welsh Run in her childhood and remaining there until four or five years ago.

She had often visited in Waynesboro, where she had a number of relatives, among them being Howard L. Steck, a nephew, East Second Street; and the following cousins, John and Luther, Neal, Mrs. Harry Criswell and Mrs. Crawford Kirkpatrick. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Luther R. Steck, Martinsburg, W.Va.; Clarence M. Steck and Mrs. L. S. Lawrence, of Philadelphia; Misses Ida and Nellie Steck, of Welsh Run.

Miss Steck was a member of the Robert Kennedy Memorial Presbyterian Church, Welsh Run. The funeral will take place from the home in Welsh Run at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, burial in Fairview, Md.
