Patricia "Pat" Henrietta Weaver of Salem, OR, passed away on November 22, 2015 at the age of 86. She was born on October 30, 1929 to her parents Floyd and LaReta Blankenfeld in Omaha, Nebraska. She was the oldest of nine children.
Pat attended Rock County High School in Nebraska. She was the Salutatorian of her class and a member of the National Honor Society.
Pat married Richard " Wayne" Weaver on January 2, 1948 and lived in Long Valley, South Dakota. Several more moves included Valentine, NE (1950), Santa Barbara, CA (1960) and San Luis Obispo, CA (1974). They made one last move to Salem, OR in 1978.
Pat and Wayne had three children. Pat was an excellent cook who loved opening up her home to family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards, golf, bowling and was a voracious reader. Pat was also the best friend you could ever have. She was a good listener and could always be counted on to give excellent advice.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband Wayne; her parents, Floyd and LaReta Blankenfeld; her sisters Dianne and LaReta.
Pat is survived by her son and daughter-in-law of Salem, OR; daughter and son-in-law of Los Osos, CA; son and daughter-in-law of Fresno, CA; 14 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four sisters and two brothers.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Elks Lodge 336, 2336 Turner Road SE, Salem, OR beginning at 1 pm.
