h/o 1st Nancy Snowden, m. 1840, 2nd Nancy Hendricks, m. 1846, 3rd Sarah Rose, m. 1858, Jackson Co, KY

Living with son Elijah in 1910 census in/on Kirby Knob.

Suggested Edit:
Well, our problems are being resolved. As I thought: Liley, William and Elijah Abner weren't children of either Nancy SNOWDEN or Sarah ROSE. Yes...I found another wife, to wit: Nancy HENDRICKS! The two Nancy's could confuse anyone. I also found William and Nancy #2 on the 1850 census in Estill Co., KY. So that family looks like this:

William ABNEY Sr. (ca.1828-????) m.1 25 May 1840 in Estill Co., KY to:
Nancy SNOWDEN (she m2. 20 Sep 1847 to Squire ADAMS). They had issue:
1. Amos ABNER (b.ca.1843 Estill Co., KY)

William ABNEY Sr. m2. ca.1846 to:
Nancy HENDRICKS (b. ca.1821; d.13 Jun 1856 Estill Co.). They had issue:
2. Delila "Liley" Abner (b.ca.1847 Estill Co., KY)
3. William ABNER Jr. (b.ca.1849 Estill Co., KY)
4. Elijah J. "Eli" ABNER (b. Mar 1853 Estill Co., KY)
5. John ABNER (b.07 Mar 1855 - KY birth record gives us Nancy Hendricks!)

William ABNEY Sr., now a widower, m3.15 Jan 1859 in Jackson Co., KY to:
Sarah A. "Sally" ROSE (1837-ca.1905). They had issue:
Elihu b. Mar 1862 KY, d. Mar 1906 TN (1880 Census)
6. Sulvana ABNER (twin of Yeatman?, b.29 Oct 1859. d.y.?
7. Yeatman ABNER (twin of Sulvana?, b.29 Oct 1859 (KY Birth Index only has Sylvana Abner (male) listed, no twin. Census records Yeatman, probably Sylvana Yeatman. Disabled in Mining Accident 1880 Census)
8. Permelia ABNER, b.ca.1867
9. Hannah ABNER, b.ca.1871
10. Samuel "Sam" ABNER, b.09 Jun 1874 (KY Birth Index) (ggf of Cousin Charlotte Krauss)
11. James, b. ca.1879.
We can add an 11th child. William & wife were living with their son, James ABNER (1900 census). James was born Dec 1879. Wife, Permela was born Jul 1875.
So, there we have it...all coming together!

Since William ABNEY who m. Nancy SNOWDEN was son of "Berry" ABNEY, we can safely say, now, that Cousin Charlotte's line is thus:
Dannett ABNEY Sr. "the Colonist" (1659-1733) m. Mary LEE
Paul ABNEY (1699-aft.1786) m. (n.n.)
John ABNEY "the Lost Son" (ca.1731-bef.1786) m. (n.n.) (Bodby?)
Pvt. John ABNEY, RS (ca.1767-1838) m. Martha Pattman PUCKETT
Littleberry "Berry" ABNEY (ca.1791-1854) m. Elizabeth ABNEY (d/o his uncle, Pvt. William ABNEY & Mildred "Milly" GRAVES)
William ABNEY (ca.1828-????) m3. Sarah A. "Sally" ROSE
Samuel "Sam" ABNER (1873-1948) m1. Rutha JONES
John Curtis ABNER (1895-1974) m. Mary Ann "Mollie" SAMMONS
Franklin William ABNER (1931-2016) m. Shirley Ann CONARD
Charlotte ABNER m. (n.n.) KRAUSS
It feels great to get this one worked out. The "Jr." in the 1880 TN should have been "Sr." No big deal. We have all the other documents proving William "son of Berry" ABNEY and his 3 marriages and some 10 children.
