Orman (Chet) M. Cheatwood, 94, passed away November 27, 2015 in Sulphur. He was born June 27, 1921, in Paden, to C.F. and Zme Cheatwood. Chet was a former resident of Edmond and was residing at Sulphur Veterans Center. He owned West 9th Auto in Edmond for many years. Chet's favorite hobbies were fishing, hunting, golf and bowling. He is remembered for his kind manner, beautiful smile, sense of humor, and his vivid blue eyes. Chet is survived by one sister, Mabel Howard of Oklahoma City; 2 daughters, Saundra Hollis of Cleveland, OH and Lisa Jones of Edmond; daughter-in-law, Barbara Cheatwood of Cleveland, OH; 6 grandchildren, Tracey Holdway, Kim Cheatwood, Eric Cheatwood, Kyla Fields, Leah Bessler and Lacee Jones; 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and one nephew. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dean; parents, C.F. and Zme; son, Brian Cheatwood; 2 sisters and 4 brothers. A memorial service for Chet will be held in Spring, 2016.
