Andy Fields Dies At Jenkins Hospital
Andy Fields, 50-year-old Oscaloosa miner, died at the Jenkins Hospital Monday, August 11 and was buried in the Fields Cemetery Tuesday morning.
Funeral services were preached at the residence with Elders Albert York, Emmett Adams and Arthur Stidham officiating. Craft Funeral Home was in charge of services.
Fields was born July 4, 1902 in Kentucky, the son of Stoney and Martha Jenkins Fields. He was married to Atha Ellen Fields, who survives him.
He was employed by the Elkhorn Jellico Coal Company.
