Burial was in New Electra Cemetery under direction of James B. Totten and Son Funeral Home.
Grandsons were pallbearers. They included Billy Begeman, Jimmy Begeman, Troy Begeman, Bobby Begeman, Kenneth Urban, and James Urban. Honorary pallbearers included Allen Kemple, Allen Krohn, H. A. Decker, Ray B. Dickey, C. H. McGann, Albert Brockriede, Fred Moeller of Wichita Falls, Dr. W. H. Ogden, James F. Robertson and A. C. Rippy.
A retired farmer, Begemann was born Aug. 8, 1874, in Germany. He came with his family to Missouri as a child, and moved to Electra some 62 years ago. He died Thursday night in a Wichita Falls hospital following a long illness.
Survivors include his wife, Amelia; five sons, Henry and Fritz of Electra, Charles of Burkburnett, Herman of Austin and William of Greenfield, Cal.; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Urban of Electra and Mrs. Mary Fuller of Ryan, Okla.; 12 grand children and 26 great grandchildren._
