"Granddaughter Of Late Joseph Seep Is Dead - Mrs Alma Fennessey (sic) Coleman To Be Buried in St Catharine's on Saturday - Word was received in the city late last evening of the death in Stamford, Conn, of Mrs Alma Fennessey (sic) Coleman, niece of Mrs J E Fleming and Mrs J J Harvey, which occurred in the hospital in that city at 6:30 pm. Although it was known that Mrs Coleman was seriously ill, her death was unexpected here and the news came as a distinct shock. Mrs Coleman was granddaughter of the late Joseph Seep, founder of the Seep Oil Purchasing agency and for many years a leading citizen of Titusville. She was daughter of James H and the late May Seep Fennessey (sic), and was born in Denver, Col, on June 5, 1903. She was educated in VIsitation academy, Washington, DC. During her girlhood, Mrs Coleman visited at the home of her grandparents in Titusville annually and she will be remembered by many of the younger residents of her age. She was united in marriage with Cornelius E Coleman at Greenwich, Conn, in September, 1927, and he survives her with four small children, Barbara and Nancy, and twin boys, Cornelius, Jr, and James, who were born at about Christmas time last year. She is also survived by her father of RIdgefield, Conn, two sisters and a brother, Mrs Eleanor F Waller of New York, Miss Marcia Seep Fennessey (sic) and Joseph Seep Fennessey (sic) of Ridgefield. Mrs Coleman and her father were in Titusville about two months ago for the funeral of Mrs Lillian S Quinby. At that time, Mrs Coleman was not well and soon after returning to her home in Darien, Conn, became quite ill, later going to the hospital for treatment. The death of Mrs Coleman will bring sorrow to all who knew her as she was an unusually charming and cultured young woman with a keen interest in her family and friends. The body will be brought to Titusville for funeral and interment. The funeral party is expected to arrive at 9:05 am, Saturday, and the casket will be taken directly to St Titus' church, where requiem high mass will be celebrated and the interment will follow in the Fennessey (sic) plot in St Catharine's cemetery."
