Jeannine Nuttall Carpenter, 81, of Safford, entered into rest Sunday, December 6, 2015, at her residence after a valiant fight with Parkinson’s disease.

Jeannine was born February 10, 1934, in Safford to Joseph Heber and Alma Woolsey Nuttall.

She attended Safford Schools graduating in 1951. Jeannine married Jerry Carpenter on April 1, 1953 in the Mesa Arizona Temple for time and all eternity.

Jeannine is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jerry Carpenter, her mother, Alma Nuttall, her children: Jeff Carpenter, Joe Carpenter, Jan Rietz, Jason Carpenter and Julie Carpenter, her sister Lois Reay and brothers Clint Nuttall and Brooks Nuttall. Also surviving Jeannine are eleven grandchildren, three great-grandsons and one great-grandchild on the way.

A viewing for Jeannine will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel and again on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Safford Stake Center.

Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Thatcher Cemetery.
