Charles Lee Bederka 84 of Crosby, Texas passed away December 7, 2015. Charles was born on May 18, 1931 in Dayton, Texas to Anton and Mary (Zavada) Bederka.

Charles served his country and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. Charles worked as a machinist in the petrochemical industry for many years and in his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, working outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. Charles was very strong and easy going man who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by parents; wife, Doris Bederka and daughter, Liz Skrla.

Charles is survived by his brother, Curtis Bederka; brother, Jimmy Bederka; sister, Louise; grandsons, Wes Skrla and Kevin Skrla; son-in-law, Pat Skrla; nieces: Viola Stubbs, Mary Ackerman, Penny Ackerman, Mildred BeBee and Sandra Arsement; and many other relatives and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 5pm-8pm with a rosary at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 10am at Sterling-White Funeral Home with burial following at Sterling-White Cemetery.
