Carmen [Carmine] Conrad Edwards of Sapulpa, [Oklahoma] died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000 at the age of 94. She was born Feb. 1, 1906 to her parents, Rev. Franklin E. Conrad and Louisa Cypert Conrad in Romance, Mo. [Middle name, Madge, taken from US Soc Sec Applic & Claims Index in ancestry.com.]

Edwards was a homemaker, and had lived in the Sapulpa and Kiefer area since 1923. She married John Edwards in May of 1923. She attended the Glenwood Assembly of God Church in Sapulpa.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Darla and Morris Reed of Ada, [Oklahoma]; three granddaughters: Rhonda and her husband, Abel Noah of Edmond, [Oklahoma], Rachel and husband, Wink Kopezynski of Longview, Texas, and Becky and husband, John Barker of Norman, [Oklahoma]; three great-grandchildren: Wink Kopezynski III, Kameron and Kassidy Kopezynski; two sisters, Nadean Wilcox of Pauls Valley, [Oklahoma] and Mildred Meeker and her husband, Frank of Springfield, Mo.; and her caregiver, Nell Lyons of Sapulpa.

The family received friends at Glenwood Assembly of God Church from 10 am this morning until the funeral service.

Funeral services were to be held at 2 pm today at the Glenwood Assembly of God Church in Sapulpa with the Rev. T. J. "Ted" Thomas and the Rev. Rick McElhannon officiating. Interment will be at South Heights Cemetery in Sapulpa.
