Nell Kirby Hensley, age 87, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at her home.
She was the widow of the late Ollice Hensley to whom she was married for 65 years. She was the daughter of the late Curtis and Indianna Kirby. Nell was preceded in death by a son Gary Lynn Hensley.
She is survived by
Two Daughters:
Kimberly H. Tomblin and her husband Neal of Rutherfordton, NC
Myra Blackwell and her husband Jon of Georgia.
Two Sons:
David Hensley of Spindale, NC
Hugh Hensley and his wife Dee Dee of Rutherfordton, NC
Two Sisters:
Beatrice Beheler, Shelby, NC
Ovita Wright
Eight Grandchildren
Nine Great-Grandchildren
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 10, 2015 at McMahan's prior to the service. The Funeral service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 10, 2015 with Reverend Bobby Brown officiating. Interment will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Forest City, NC. McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
