Virginia Joann (Nelson) Aronson, age 77 of Louisburg, KS, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2015.

She was born on December 15, 1937 in Nicut, Oklahoma to Dallas and Sarah (Walters) Nelson. Virginia and her husband, Robert, were married for 53 years and had one daughter, Sabrina.

They lived in Satanta, Kansas until relocating to Louisburg, Kansas where they have lived since 1972. Virginia was a stay at home wife and mother who was supportive and committed to her family. Virginia was a strong Christian woman and was very involved in her church, Louisburg Assembly of God, for many years. She greatly loved the Lord and enjoyed gospel music. Virginia was a talented singer and wrote several songs, which she shared with her church family. She also made beautiful quilts, had a lovely flower garden, enjoyed reading and had a wonderful sense of humor. She often enjoyed laughing and sharing stories of her past with family and friends. She was much loved and will be greatly missed, but we take comfort in knowing we will see her again in the next life.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Bill Nelson, and four sisters, Aileen (Nelson) Jones, Maxine (Nelson) Brown, Nina (Nelson) Brown and Mona (nelson) Sims.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; one daughter, Sabrina; three brothers, Dallas Nelson, Jr. and wife Francis; Melvin Nelson and
wife Sherry; and James Nelson and wife Ann; one sister, Jerrene Hoskinson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
