Mr. Ronnie J. Buse, 67, longtime Rural Deaf Smith County resident died Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at his home with his family at his bedside.

Ronnie Joe Buse, 67, Rural Deaf Smith County resident, died Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at his son and daughter-in-law’s home with his family at his bedside.

A Wake Service with sharing of memories and videos is scheduled for 6:30 pm, Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Kings Manor Methodist Retirement Center Lamar Room with a Rosary led by Mr. Fritz Backus.

A Memorial Funeral Mass service is scheduled for 11:00 am, Friday, December 11, 2015 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Rev. Anthony “Tony” Neusch, Parish Priest will officiate as Celebrant. Cremation services are under the direction of Hereford Heritage Funeral Home, 411 E 6th Street.

Ronnie was born October 8, 1948 in Hereford, to Herman “Jack” and Agnes (Jones) Buse. He graduated from Hereford High School in 1967 and moved to Sterling, Colorado where he lived for 41 plus years. Ronnie moved back to Hereford in 2011 and lived at Kings Manor Assisted Living for a period of time before moving in with his son and daughter-in-law. Ronnie enjoyed telling jokes & stories at lunch to friends at Kings Manor. Ronnie was a Sales Manager in the Agriculture industry. He loved his Lord, family and a host of many friends. Ronnie’s passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter back in the day. When his sight allowed him, Ronnie liked watching Western movies and the Denver Broncos. He also liked to travel the United States with his brother Johnny. Ronnie will be dearly missed by his family and a host of many friends.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers, Herman, Owen, Charlie, Ralph and Robert Buse; 1 sister, Betty Lady; and the “love of his life”, Janet Winter.

Survivors left behind to cherish his memories are his children, Kevin Buse and wife Renee (Banner) of Hereford, Pamela (Buse) Hardwick and husband Gunnar of Glendale, AZ; 1 sister, Mary Markham of Kerrville, TX; 2 brothers, Johnny Buse and wife Carol of Amarillo, David Buse and wife Ginny of Bakersfield, CA; 6 grandchildren, Brock, Baron, Belle Buse of Hereford, Madison, Gunnar and Zoee Hardwick of Glendale, AZ, and a host of many friends.

The family suggests memorials to the Kings Manor Retirement Center, 400 Ranger Drive, Hereford, TX 79045 or St. Anthony’s Catholic Church School Endowment Fund, 114 Sunset Drive, Hereford, TX 79045.
