ABSTRACT:No death date. Died in Boone, Iowa while visiting. She was 81. Preceded in death by husband Reuben; survived by daughter, Mrs. W.M. Wheelock of Boone, Ia.; sister Mrs. O.D. Houghton; brothers J.W. and J.H. Boggs. Daughter of Rev. J.H. Boggs. She moved with her parents to Illinois in 1856 and in June of 1857 married Reuben Hoover. They soon moved to Boone, Ia., where they resided until 1897 when they came to California, first to Porterville and later to Long Beach, which became their permanent home and where her husband died in May, 1912.
