Man Pronounced Dead On Arrival At Hospital - William Roof, Grand Hotel, 205-9 N. Eighth St., was pronounced dead on arrival at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Thursday night at ten o'clock. He was 69. An autopsy was being performed today. Roof, retired, was a son of the late William and Mary Dodane Roof. He is survived by a daughter, Margaret, in Ohio, and two brothers, Israel H. and Thomas, both of Lebanon.
