Gloria Jurisic served as the Jules Stein Eye Institute’s marketing and contracting director, overseeing the institute’s promotional, communications, and contracting programs from 1981-2011. Before her retirement from UCLA, she held several staff leadership positions, serving on the boards of Staff Assembly (SA) and the Administrative Management Group, and chairing SA’s scholarship and awards program for six consecutive years. Ms. Jurisic is currently training to become a docent at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and will continue to participate in JSEI’s outreach and patient care programs through her activities on the JSEI Affiliates Advisory Board.
