LONG ILLNESS PROVES FATAL

Mrs. Ellen D. Geary Passes Away at Residence of Her Daughter this Morning. --

Funeral to be Tuesday --

After an illness of six months duration from heart trouble, Mrs. Ellen D. Geary, aged 68, died at 11:40 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William F. Pfrang, 336 South Main Street.

The deceased was born in Ontario, Canada, July 24, 1849 and came to the United States with her parents when a small child. The family settled in Chilton and about twenty-eight years ago came to this city to reside. She was married February 28, 1869 to Dennis McKenna, and some time after his death several years later she was again married in April 1884 to David Geary of Oakfield. Mr. Geary passed away in December, 1886.

The deceased is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Fannie Brayton of this city, Mrs. L. P. Cavanaugh of Glendive, Mont., and Mrs. William Pfrang of this city. She also leaves two brothers, William Greening of Chippewa Falls and Michael Gainor of Appleton and two sisters Mrs. Mary Barry and Mrs. Catherine Patton, both of Appleton. She also is survived by nine grandchildren and one great grand child.

The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning from St. Joseph's Church and the Rev. J. J. Collins will officiate. Interment will take place in Chilton.
