Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Young; and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Fred (Cathy) Young; sister, Leta Hann; brother, Joe (Flo) Forren.
Mae, a longtime elementary school teacher, was a Rosie the Riveter during WWII at the Glenn L. Martin Plant. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, reading and volunteering at the Meigs County Humane Society.
Funeral services are Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at 10:00 am at Anderson Funeral Homes, 40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio. Burial to follow in Springboro Cemetery.
