Widow of Leonard J. Sweet beloved mother of Rickard (Rick), Barry and Leonard Sweet all of CA. Educator of deaf children in CA and in Flint Michigan at Michigan School for the Deaf. She served in U.S. Marine Corps. as a firefighter, she actually drove a fire truck in WWII. Graduate of Eastern Michigan Univ. in Ypsilanti, MI. Murph was a wonderful person and had a great sense of humor, she could also do magic tricks. Murph was very fluent in ASL. Murph's husband Len was killed in an automobile accident by a drunk driver in Lansing, MI while attending a coach's convention. He died on Mother's Day.
