Patricia A. DeBois, age 78, of Marion, Passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 at Hospice House of Rutherford County. Patricia was born in San Francisco, California on August 29, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Walter DeBois and Helene M. Erhart DeBois. Preceding Patricia in death was her life partner, Doris Vause. She was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church and volunteered in a number of activities at the church. Her church family was her family and she never missed a church service. She was a kind person who was an avid reader and student and enjoyed classical music. She enjoyed eating and loved to attend dinners with her friends and church family. During her lifetime she lived and traveled in many places in the U.S. Her license plate read UPITYWMN. A celebration of Patricia's life will be held Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 5:00 pm at St. Johns Episcopal Church with Rev. Canon Richard Rowe officiating. A reception and supper will be held following the service at the Parish House.
