Jane was born June 3, 1927 to John Pete Attey and Sarah George Attey in Salt Lake City. She was the ninth of ten children.
She was athletic and adventurous, whether on the ski slopes, in the swimming pool, or on the softball field where she played on a team with her sisters and friends.
She was united in marriage to Norman F. Eddy of Steam Boat Springs, Colorado in September 1966. They lived in Salt Lake City, where Norman was an architect and Jane was a business partner in Sun Insurance.
Jane enjoyed sharing laughter with loved ones and traveling the world. She was fondly known as 'Aunt Jane' by so many in the community who enjoyed her love and shared her delicious Lebanese meals.
She will be greatly missed by her many family and friends.
She is Survived by one sister, Joan Hashim, of Bakersfield, California; and many nieces and nephews, including Jeanette Sawaya and her children, Max and Wilson Lamb, who she lived with for many years.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Ambrose Catholic Church, 1975 South 2300 East, where friends may call prior from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
Committal: Mount Calvary Cemetery, 4th Avenue and T Street.
