John M. Crisp, 81, of Chatsworth passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015.
Mr. Crisp was preceded in death by his loving wife, Daisy Crisp; brother, James Crisp; sisters, Thelma Butler, Bernice Brewer, Lily Mae Fields, and Ruth Crisp; and great-grandson, Austin McAfee.
Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Lorenzo M. Crisp, Dennis & Ruby Crisp, and Barney Crisp; daughters, Terry Elrod and Sheila Crisp; brother, Henry Crisp; sister, June Johnson; grandchildren, Johnny, Sarah, Malcom “Pee-Wee,” Garrett, and Madison Crisp, Christian Elrod, Sean & Nikki Elrod, and Aimee McAfee; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Tasha, and Johnny “L. J.” Crisp, Jaykob Baker, Cadence Elrod, and Kinsley and Piper Burcik. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Crisp will be held at 12 noon on Monday, December 7, 2015 from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m.
