Catherine (Beackman) Bryant (b 1790) is shown living next to Levi and his family in their 1870 census, without Thompson. Her birth date is sometimes shown 1795, but there is no female that age bracket in Thompson's 1830 Wilkes census, rather the 1790 bracket.

Grandson of Robert Bryant (# 15567715), who is shown as a Revolutionary War veteran in Thompson's 1840 Blount census.
