Peggy Bare Gunter, 56, Statesville Resident, dies on Thursday.
Peggy Joe Bare Gunter, 56, the wife of Arville Jackson of Village Drive, Statesville,
died Thursday, Sept 22,2005, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
Mrs. Gunter was born June 25, 1949, in Ashe County to Arthur and Francis Louise Royal Bare.
She was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Lee Joines; and two brothers, Johnny Ray Bare, and Bobby Gene Bare.
Surviving in addition to her husband, of Statesville, are two daughters, Melissa Joines of Statesville and Christy Little of Tarboro; five brothers, Hamilton Bare, Alonzo Bare, and Eugene Royal Bare, all of Millers Creek, Henry Bare of Laurel Springs, and Jerry Bare of Wilkesboro; four sisters, Alice Lambert of Roaring River, Fannie Blanton of
Ferguson, Carolyn Medley of Laurel Springs, and Wilma Caldwell of Kings Creek; three half-Sisters, Josephine Griest, Pauline Cloud and Juanita Lamb, all of Pennsylvania; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Miller Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Roten and the Rev. Clayton Hamby officiating. Burial was in the Ebenezer
Presbyterian Church in Ashe County.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wilkes, 1908 West Park, North Wilkesboro,
NC., 28659.
