GENE AUTRY -- Services for Gary Dean "Grif" Antwine, 53, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, 2006, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Pastor Kirk Rushing officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of Kirk Funeral Home.

Gary was born on Sept. 7, 1952. The Lord called him to rest on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006, at his home in Phoenix. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elnora Antwine Kirk; grandmother, Beulah Antwine; and grandfather, Isom Antwine.

He lived his entire life in Carter County and Phoenix, attending school at Berwyn and Springer High School.

He leaves behind in warm and cherished memories, two brothers, Larry Martin, Glendale, Ariz., and Eddie Marvin Antwine, Elmirage, Ariz.; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and acquaintances.

Bearers will be Ronnie Walker, Lannie Roberts, David Walker Jr., Oscar Herbert, Theodore Herbert, Wendell Cohee, Jackie Pickens, Larry Cohee and Joe Cohee. Classmates will serve as flower bearers.
