C.B. RITCHIE, age 76, Cynthiana, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. Born in Nicholas County, September 8, 1939 to the late Glenn, Sr. and Dora Jones Ritchie, he was a retired Grede Perm Cast employee and a farmer. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Evelyn Whirles Ritchie; three children, Christopher Bruce Ritchie, Teresa Marie Ritchie and Lyle Trent Fryman; six brothers and sisters, Donnie Ritchie, Glenn Ritchie, Jr., Gary Wayne Ritchie, Gracie Harding, Edna Ritchie and Carol K. Ritchie; a grandson, Logan Fryman and a granddaughter, Lisa Marie Fryman.

He is survive by a son, Mike Ritchie, Cynthiana; two daughters, Linda (Rick) Livingood, Carlisle and Sharon (Gary) Gooden, Cynthiana; a brother, Davie (Shirley) Ritchie, North Middletown; three sisters, Margaret Blackburn, Cold Springs and Joyce (Garlet) Livingood and Patsy Smith, both of Carlisle; three sisters-in-law, Darlene, Bobbi and Linda Ritchie; nine grandchildren, Tawnya (Mark) Colwell, Jennifer (Jason) Cleaver, Rickey Livingood, II, Katie Ritchie, Gina (Roger) Fryman, Jason Gooden, Laura (James) Watts, Emily Holbert and Nikki Fryman; seventeen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Ware Funeral Home by Gaylord Gillespie and Jerry Watkins. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Wilbur Williams, Todd Highlander, Jason Gooden, Rickey Livingood, II, James Watts and Roger Fryman. Honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren.
