David Lynn Pendleton, 60, was born December 16, 1954 and passed away peacefully on December 1, 2015 from complications with renal failure.

Dave was patient, kind, and a good listener. He was always there with a joke, good advice, and some tools if needed. He was a father to so many people. He always took the time to help with homework or to listen to troubles. We will miss his smile, his laughter, and his insightful conversation.

He was an individual with many interests and talents. While in high school, he played tackle on the football team and Kearns won the state championships. He held weight lifting records for many years and participated in drama and model UN. He was a movie buff, a tinkerer, and jewelry maker. He enjoyed photography and going out to the range.

He is survived by his significant other, Linda Tanner; his brothers, Dan (Teri) and Frank; his children, Trina (Teisha), Matt (Melissa), Jacob (Chantel), Mellissa (Kenny), and Emily (Gary); and his grandchildren, Val, David, Caytlin, Ashely, Alexus, and Nathan. He is preceded in death by his brothers, and sisters, Julie, Russell, Jerry, and Marie; and parents, Frank and Anita Pendleton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Kearns Third Ward Chapel, 4715 South 4300 West, Kearns, with a viewing from 9:45-10:45 a.m. and will be followed by a graveside service at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East College Street (4580 South), Millcreek.
