Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Monday in Erath Gardens of Memory, under the direction of Stephenville Funeral Home. The Rev. James Gillespie officiated.
Born Aug. 29, 1913 in Erath County, he was a retired auto mechanic.
A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He had lived most of his life in Erath County.
Survivors include a son, George Jr. of Duncanville; two daughters, Annette Brooks of Stephenville and Linda Huff of Alvarado; a sister, Pauline Fuller of Stephenville; and three grandchildren.
