Jessie Ray Currier, 49 of Selah passed away on Tuesday July 28, 2015 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 5, 1966. In 1986 he met and married his true love Debbie on December 20, 1989.


He was employed with Thunder Electric as a Journeyman electrician for 26 years. He also served in the Army Reserve 737th. In 1989 we were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Brittany Patnode. Jessie enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family. His granddaughters were his pride and joy. Jessie enjoyed life and touched so many people lives. He was known for his big smile and positive attitude.


Jessie is survived by his wife, Debra A Currier, daughter, Brittany Patnode, son-in-law, Josh Patnode of Selah; two beautiful granddaughters, Bailee & Alexis Patnode of Selah; his mother, Joan (stepdad Gary Choate) Currier of Selah; stepdad Charles Currier (Deb); two brothers, Jamie Currier of Puyallup, and Charlie Joe Currier of Yakima; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his grandson Buckley R. Patnode, his father Jerry Collins and older brother Gerald Collins.
