George Dewey Higgins Jr.age 73, of Plainfield, passed on November 28, 2015 in his residence. He was born on September 9, 1942 in Indianapolis, Indiana to George Dewey Sr. and Margaret Sterrett Higgins. He married Patricia Helton on December 22, 1961; she survives. George was a machinist for ATA in Indianapolis retiring in 2001.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his children: George Dewey Higgins III and Michelle L. Cummings. Sister: Loraine Freeland. Brothers: Danny, Rod, Donald and Bobby Higgins. Grandchildren: Ashley Higgins, Casondra Cummings and Cabrina Higgins. Greatgrandchildren: Brooke Bruins, Cameron Griffith, Bradynn Cummings and Caleb Griffith.
