Tom S. Cota was born in 1925 in Superior, Az.He was like a father to me. I miss him very much.
He served in the Army for a short time in WW11. He married Maria Rodriquez and had 2 sons, Fernando and Tom. They adopted a little girl and named her Gloria. Gloria passed away in her early teens of an Auto Accident. The family mourned her for years and still miss her very much.
Tom worked in construction and worked for many years for the Okeef and Merit Co. in the City of Industry. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren. He had Thomas,Ruben,Paul,Bernadette,Fernando,Joseph,John,JoeyG,Veronica, Victor.Plus many many great grandchildren We all miss him very much. He is fondly remembered daily by his grandsons and he will always be in our prayers. He loved to cook and have all his grandchildren over to go swimming in his backyard pool. He loved his BBQ's and just being with family.
He loved them very much.
He loved traveling with his wife Mary in their later years, especially going up to Reno gambling. They loved eachother until his death. He died of Cancer and said "I've lived a happy life" "I'm ready to be with Our Lord". He went with the Lord Jesus Christ on May the 5th 200l around 3:00 p.m. He waited until all his grandchildren were there by his side. We will never Forget his smile and his hugs. God Bless you Dad.
