She was born on November 5, 1961 in Connersville. She was the daughter of William and Edith Sizemore Collins, both of whom have preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving husband, Melvin Abercrombie whom she married on December 17, 1989 in Connersville, Indiana.
She attended Columbia United Methodist Church and Orange United Methodist Church. She was employed at Ford/ Visteon for 21 years, retiring in 2006 due to her ill health. She was an active 4-H leader with her children. She was also active in the CHS Wrestling Booster Club and was an Everton Elementary Cheerleading coach for several years. She loved gardening, camping, horseback riding, family vacations, and mushroom hunting. She supported the FFA and loved to show chickens at the Indiana State Fair. But most of all, she loved being Grandma.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Nicole McFall of Connersville; one son, Mike McFall and his wife Ashley of Connersville; one grandson, Jesse Logan Parsons of Connersville; one granddaughter, Jaylynn Burchell Parsons of Connersville and a grandchild due in February; one brother, Anthony Ray Collins of Ohio; two sisters, Patricia Delph and her husband Clyde of Connersville and Ruby Bean and her husband David of Connersville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, William Jr. Collins of Connersville; a son-in-law, Justin M. Parsons, and several uncles and cousins.
