Jeanette Marie Idalski, age 73 of Alpena passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015, surrounded by her loving husband and 3 sons at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. Her passing followed a very courageous battle with Leukemia.
Jeanette Marie Zolnierek was born in Alpena on July 27, 1942 to Harry and Sally (Milostan) Zolnierek and married Patrick D. Idalski on August 18, 1962. Jeanette held various administrative and project based positions with the Besser Company for many years before retiring in 2005. She was an inaugural member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, serving as the first church organist and also sang in the choir for many years.
Surviving are her wonderful husband of 53 years, Patrick; three cherished sons, Derek (Annette) Idalski of Atlanta, GA, Kurt Idalski of Chicago, IL, Brent (Jessica Kudrick) Idalski of Glen Ridge, NJ; four beloved grandchildren, Ashley, Ella, Sara, Quinn; her dear mother, Sally Zolnierek of Alpena; two treasured siblings, Diane (Earl) Phillips of Gastonia, NC; James (Donna) Zolnierek of Alpena; and several wonderful nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Idalski was preceded in death by her father Harry Zolnierek.
