Services was Saturday, 3:30 p.m., Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mickey Loftis officiating. Burial was at Resthaven Memorial Park.
He was a retired chief petty officer in the U.S. Navy, member of the Trinity Baptist Church and a native of Emhouse.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Zola Allen, of Corsicana; six brothers, Thomas Ray, of Houston, Frank Ray of Poteet, James ray of Redondo Beach, Calif., Garvis Ray, of Midland, Alvie Ray, of Waco, and Clarence Ray, of Las Cruces, N. M.; five sisters, Mrs. Eula Tallant, of Corsicana, Mrs. Willie Owen, of Waxahachie, Mrs. Verlie Turner, of Carrollton, Mrs. Marie Adams, of Beaumont, Mrs. Christine Luther, of Blooming Grove; a number of nieces, nephews and a granddaughter.
Nephews are pallbearers.
