Patrick M. Aaron, 45, of Annin Creek Road died Friday (Feb. 20, 2009) at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie after a short illness.

Born Jan. 17, 1964, in Olean, NY, he was a son of Vincent P. and Betty McNeil Aaron. He was a 1982 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School in Duke Center. He had resided in Olean and Prentisvale before moving to Annin Creek in 2002.

He was employed by Henry Hill Auto in Olean for 10 years. He was later employed by Pittsburgh Corning Glass Works in Port Allegany, Zippo Manufacturing in Bradford and Topline Industries in Lewis Run. Since 2001, he had been employed by Alcas Cutlery in Olean.

He enjoyed hunting, farming, NASCAR and local stock car racing. He had always enjoyed helping people.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Betty M. Watson of Coryville, are a son, Michael J. Aaron, serving with the US Navy at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD; two daughters, Samantha L. Aaron, attending college at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and Logan C. Aaron, at home; a brother, Phillip Scott Aaron of Portville, NY; and a sister, Sheila Oliver of Bradford; a stepbrother, Joseph (Millie) Watson of San Diego, CA; a stepsister, Deborah (Bruce) Burdick of Smethport; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father in 1992; and his stepfather, James Watson in 2009.

Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9pm at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred, where funeral services will be held Monday (Feb. 23, 2009) at 1pm with the Rev. Frank Eppley officiating. Burial will follow in Moody Hollow Cemetery, Coryville.

At the family's request, donations may be made to the Future Farmers of America or to a charity of the donor's choice.
