Anita married (1st) Ralph Olinto Mackie (1903-1952) on September 29, 1928 in Eureka, Humboldt County, California. Ralph and Anita had one daughter, Beverly Jane Mackie Greathouse, Depew, Peters, Weeks (1929-2002). Anita married (2nd) William R. “Bill” Aiken (1902-1974). William and Anita had no children.
AIKEN, ANITA R. Passed away September 7, 1974. She was a resident of 3130 Lowell St., Eureka. She was the mother of Mrs. Beverly Weeks of Seattle, Wash.; daughter of Mrs. Matti Lamb of Eureka. She is survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Aiken was a native of Eureka, age 64.
Friends are invited to attend services at Sanders Funeral Home, Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 9:30 a.m. with the Rev. George Aziz officiating. Then to St. Bernard’s Church for Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call at the chapel Monday, 7 to 8:30.
