Dan Miley, well known bachelor farmer, died at a Red Wing hospital last Thursday night following a lingering illness. He had been in failing health for several months and was confined to the hospital since last July.
Born in Oak Grove township 69 years ago he had resided there and in Diamond Bluff all his life. He was a successful farmer and enjoyed a wide acquaintance. The only survivor is brother, Larry, of Oak Grove.
Funeral services were conducted at Prescott Monday morning and interment in that city.
