Mr. A. Harold Wilson died Sunday, 22 November 2015, at the Cameron Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Hilda Rehagen Wilson and a brother Richard E. Wilson.

Harold was born in KCMO on 10 August 1926. He graduated from Rockhurst University in 1949 and married Mary Margaret Schorgl that same year.

He leaves seven children: Stephen (Laura) of Garden City, TX, Christopher of Overland Park, KS, Dr. Robert (Linda) of York, PA, William of Raymore, MO, Mary Rita of Overland Park, KS, Michael (Katherine) of Columbia, MO, and Jennifer Sanford (Dr. Glenn) of Labadie, MO; fifteen grandchildren: Dr. Stephen (Shawn), Dr. Nina and Andrew Wilson; Dr. Robert P. (Dr. Chen), Dr. Christine and Nicholas T. Wilson; Jessica Wilson; Robert and David Wilson; Nicholas S., Michael and Charles Wilson; Michael, Ryan and Christian Sanford; and five great-grandchildren: Madeline, Maxwell, Alexandra and Josephine Wilson and Jacob Revell. He is also survived by a brother, Earl M. Wilson. And his honorary Brian.

Harold is a Navy veteran of WWII on the U.S.S. Crescent City. Most of his life, he worked in sales. He loved the Lake of the Ozarks where he built a home and so enjoyed entertaining many friends there.

He was a unique and contented soul with an unwavering and almost childlike faith in God. He trusted God in all things. Harold was a 1964 founding member of St. Thomas More Church.

The family wishes to thank all the dedicated caregivers at the Cameron Veterans Home and the Cameron Medical Center who always treated him with such kindness and respect.

Funeral services: Wednesday, 25 November 2015 ~Visitation 9:30am, Mass 10:30am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church 11822 Holmes Rd, KCMO. Interment at Forest Hills will follow a reception in More Hall.
