AVON — Walter E. Bailor, 85, of Avon Geneseo Road, Avon, died Thursday, November 19, 2015

He was predeceased in 2003 by his granddaughter Maggie. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Louise, children Nancy (Jeff) Passarell, Beth Bailor and Steven Bailor. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Katie (Chris), Chris, Charlie (Katelyn), Brian, Sam, Liz, Mary, and Emma and one great grandson, Enzo, as well as his beloved dog Annie.

Walt was born March 20, 1930 to Gertrude and Earl Bailor of Groveland. He married Mary Louise Carney in 1954. He was a dairy farmer until 1974 when he sold the farm and went to work at Kraft Foods for 25 years. In his heart he remained a farmer. He loved tending his animals and working in his fields.

At Walt’s request, services and interment will be held at the convenience of his family. Private interment, South Avon Cemetery.
