SPRING VALLEY -- A private family service for Audrey Jean Jorgenson will be held in Bozeman, Mont., during the Christmas season. Interment will be in Six Mile Grove Cemetery in Lyle. Mrs. Jorgenson, 81, of Boise, Idaho, formerly of Spring Valley, died Nov. 23, 2004, in Boise.
Audrey Jean Denison was born Feb. 10, 1923. On Sept. 16, 1944, she married Thorman D. "Thor" Jorgenson. She lived in Spring Valley from the early 1950s until about four years ago. She and her husband owned Jorgenson Jewelry (later incorporated as Jornel's) in Spring Valley for more than 30 years. They were married 53 years before his death. Music was always a part of her life and frequently she was a soprano soloist in the church choir and for weddings and other community functions.
Survivors include four sons, Richard A. of Tucson, Ariz., Steven G. and Jeffrey (Valerie), both of Bozeman, Mont., and Brian K. (Gail) of Boise; a daughter, Marsha G. (Robert) Jorgenson of Boise; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Glenn Denisen of Austin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister and a brother.
