Macon, GA- Peggy Jo Cannon, 80, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m., Friday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Pastor Cory Maurer will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
They suggest that those who wish make memorial contributions to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon 31210.
Mrs. Cannon, wife of the late Doyle C. Cannon, was the daughter of late Joseph B. and Lillian Bush Baldwin and was a lifelong resident of Macon. She was a devoted homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include the family she adored, her daughters, Kim (Brad) Pinholster, Cheryl "Cheri" (Harvey) Hill and Kelly (Chris) Newsom; six beloved grandchildren, Paige (Chris) Cornelius, Erik (Sandy) Hill, Joey (Jennifer) Pinholster, Shane (Tiffany) Hill, Brittney Sumlin and Haylee (Michael) Chitty; twenty-one great grandchildren; her sister, Vickie "Cookie" (Vic) Morrow; several nieces and nephews and a dear friend, Anita Venable.
Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue has charge of arrangements.
