Services for William T. Stephens were held on Wednesday afternoon in the Eighth ward chapel with Bishop Joseph F. Barker presiding. The Relief society attended in a body and took charge of the flowers. The high priests' quorum also attended in a body. Six sons of Mr. Stephens acted as pallbearers. Howard Shupe sang "O Dry Those Tears." Lizzie Norseth and Ralph Smuin sang "Sometime, Somewhere." Mrs. Amy Blackhurst sang "One Fleeting Hour" and Nephi Brown and Mrs. Blackburn sang "One Sweetly Solemn Thought." Speakers were Bishop W.W Rawson, Fred Summerill, R.A. Jones and Bishop Barker. The body was taken to Henefer, where second services were held on Thursday in the meeting house, with Bishop Parley Richins presiding. The choir sang "O My Father" and "Though Deepending Trials." Annie Roberts sang "Come Unto Me" and Joseph P. Fernelius sang "Link Divine." "One Fleeting Hour" was sung by Mrs. May Blackhurst. Speakers were Robert A. Jones, Myrtle E. Paskett, George A. Dearden, Bishop Rawson and Patriarch M.S. Harris. Interment was made in the Henefer cemetery. C.J. Richins dedicated the grave.
