Wayne Kay Moncur passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 in Thermopolis, Wyoming.

He was born October 14, 1941 at Lovell, Wyoming, he was the 10th child of LaPriel and Alphonso Moncur

Wayne was handicapped with Downs Syndrome throughout his life. He was a gentle and loving child, and he grew up on The Little Valley Ranch in Lovell, which was a good place for him to grow up surrounded by his sisters and brothers, his pet dogs and the ranch animals. He loved to go hiking and rabbit hunting with the dogs, and to ride our gentle horse Pancho.

Wayne lived on the Ranch until his father passed away, then he went to the State Training School at Lander. There he learned to do as much as he was capable of doing. He was a good worker. He later was moved to Thermopolis, Wyoming where he worked at a dairy, at Big Horn Enterprises, cleaning motels and other tasks.

Wayne was a deeply religious person. He would never miss church. He would assist in passing the sacrament and arranging the hymn books. He had many DVD’s and books about Jesus and would talk about Him. He would often hold a book of scriptures as if he were reading it for long periods of time.

Wayne is survived by two sisters, Marjorie Olson, and June Waite, and one brother, Kent.
