Lydia Cook Machac, age 63, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014. Born in Nixon, Texas, she loved her family and to fish and garden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Nettie Cook. Survived by her husband, Douglas Scott Machac; daughters, Stephanie Mitchell and husband Justin, Melanie Young and husband Roy, and Meredith Kalbus; grandchildren, Megan Bussell and husband Matthew, Tyler Webb, Hunter Burriola, Alyssa Kalbus, Ryan Young, and Jackson Young; great-grandchildren, Gauge, Camryn, and Jaxon Bussell; sister, Kay Perez and husband David; niece, Lori Hockley and husband Alfred; nephew, Chris Perez; and numerous cousins and many friends. A Graveside Service will be held privately at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Parkway Fellowship Church, 27043 FM 1093, Richmond, Texas 77406.
