Son of Ebenezer C and Rebecca (Bancroft) Hill.

Married Harriet 8/26/1845 in Antrim NH.

Children found:
Charles Ebenezer b Feb. 7, 1848
Isaac Bancroft b Feb. 20, 1850, d. Mar. 1850.
Joseph Edward b Oct.. 1, 1852, d. June 5, 1857.
Harriet "Hattie" b Nov. 21, 1854, d. 1857.
William Bancroft b Feb. 17, 1857
Joseph Adna b May 5, 1860.

NH death records are confusing - Joseph was a minister, but appeared to have died in an accident in Chattanooga that involved the Army. I found out a few more details from "Ebenezer Hill, The Little Minister of Mason, New Hampshire" written by Charles Ebenezer Hill and John Boynton Hill, published in 1923, page 49;
…agent of U.S. Christian Commission, 1864, until his death by a railroad accident, while caring for wounded soldiers.

Twin brother of John Boynton Hill interred here in East Cemetery.
