John George Chetwynd-Talbot, 21st Earl of Shrewsbury styled Viscount Ingestre from 1915 to 1921, was a British peer. He was the son of Charles John Alton Chetwynd-Talbot, Viscount Ingestre (1882–1915) and Lady Winifred Constance Hester Paget, sister of the Marquess of Anglesey. He inherited the title Earl of Shrewsbury when his grandfather Charles Chetwynd-Talbot, 20th Earl of Shrewsbury died in 1921.
He married, firstly, Nadine Muriel Crofton-Atkins, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Cyril Randell Crofton and Ruth Josephine Emily Evans, on 24 February 1936. He and Nadine Muriel Crofton-Atkins were divorced in 1963. He married, secondly, Doris Aileen Mortlock, daughter of Sandes Alexander Mortlock, on 18 October 1963. He died on 12 November 1980 at age 65.
He succeeded as the 6th Viscount Ingestre, Stafford [G.B., 1784] on 7 May 1921. He succeeded as the 8th Baron Talbot of Hensol, Glamorgan [G.B., 1733] on 7 May 1921. He succeeded as the 21st Earl of Shrewsbury [E., 1442] on 7 May 1921. He succeeded as the 21st Earl of Waterford [I., 1446] on 7 May 1921. He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Talbot of Hensol, Glamorgan [G.B., 1784] on 7 May 1921. He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England. He fought in the Second World War. He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery (TA). He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire in 1943. He held the office of Member of the Staffordshire County Council in 1945. He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) for Staffordshire between 1946 and 1962.
Nadine Muriel Crofton-Atkins was born on 24 January 1913. She died on 19 February 2003 at age 90 at Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, England.
From 24 February 1936, her married name became Chetwynd-Talbot. After her marriage, Nadine Muriel Crofton-Atkins was styled as Countess of Shrewsbury on 24 February 1936.
