Stanley Nixon Cauthen, age 60, of Nebo, NC, died unexpectedly Friday, November 20, 2015 at his home.
He was born December 15, 1954 in McDowell County, NC to the late "Carl" Hazel Cauthen and Cordelia "Lee" Gibbs Cauthen. Stan was a member of Fork Creek Baptist Church in Rutherford County. He loved his family more than anything and he also enjoyed anything to do with cars.
Surviving Stan are his wife; two daughters; three brothers; one sister; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Missy. Also surviving are four special friends.
A Funeral Service was held at 12:00 PM on Monday, November 23, 2015 in McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion, NC. Burial followed at Fork Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Rutherford County.
